During a surprise, Clan Destin trip to Kiev on Monday, President Biden pledged another

half a billion dollars in military aid country.

Biden's visit to Ukraine comes as the latest NBC News Bowl show support for providing weapons

to Ukraine is starting to fade among the American public and it's across the board, more

so further that it'll write you go on the electorate, but it is across the board.

The Munich Security Conference last weekend, world leaders said they would stand with

Ukraine for as long as it takes.

But how long will it take?

That is a the second question many of these leaders have under their breath.

My guest today is Michael McFaugh, the US ambassador of Russia from 2012 to 2014 and

always somebody that can help at least hopefully penetrate what's going on inside the minds

of the Russians as well.

The disconnect between what the public sees happening with America and Ukraine and Russia

and how he's sort of doing this, how Biden and Biden administration, so either this

feels like a war and a foreign policy initiative that's going to look really good in the history

books, but it might not be good politics.
