I started by asking Frances for the latest updates from Ukraine.

Well, thanks David. It goes without saying that the world is still reeling from the events

of last week, which will of course turn to, but the battlefield has been far from static,

so I'm going to start there if I may. The British MOD has reported that Ukrainian airborne

forces have made small advances east from the village of Krasnohovka near Donetsk City.

Interestingly, this would be the, well, one of the first instances since Russia's full-scale

invasion last year that Ukrainian forces recaptured an area of territory occupied by Russia

since 2014. The MOD also indicates that Russian forces likely lack operational level reserves
