Despite some optimism of a Ukraine peace deal following yesterday's meeting at the White House,

European leaders say they're cautious trusting Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The meeting between President Donald Trump, Ukrainian President Volodymymy Zelensky, and seven European leaders

included discussions of security guarantees, with Trump not ruling out sending U.S. troops to Ukraine

to help maintain a potential peace deal. And Trump says he's arranging a bilateral meeting

between Zelensky and Putin, while French President Emmanuel Macron told reporters he has doubts over

Putin's desire for peace. President Trump believes in his ability to reach an agreement,

and he also believes that President Putin wants such a peace agreement. I welcome this,

and I want to believe in it after the meetings there were,

but if this process were rejected, we also all agree that sanctions would have to be increased.

The Justice Department will start turning over records related to Jeffrey Epstein to the House

Oversight Committee from Friday. That's according to the committee's chair, Representative James Comer, in a statement yesterday.
