On our last search life program we began a very important teaching about mercy.

When the Israelites got it back, they made a serious error.

Inside the arc was the law, and over the law was a lid called the mercy seat.

God specifically said that the mercy seat was not to be removed.

Nevertheless, Israel removed the mercy seat to check and make sure that the law was still there.

And when they did this 50,070 of them died.

This is what happens when we remove Mercy to try to get to the bottom of a situation to investigate and find fault, something dies.
