Summary
The Champions Champions Cup of History continues with two more matchups.
First we have the famous 1954 Honved team that conscripted its way to being maybe the greatest club team in the world before the Hungarian Revolution of 1956 put an end to Puskas and co playing together.
Their opponent is Pep Guardiola's Manchester City team that won the Premier League in 2017-18 by putting 100 points on the board.
The second game features Johan Cruyff's 1992 Barcelona team, with Hristo Stoichkov and Michael Laudrup in attack, Ronald Koeman in defense, and a young Catalan man named Josep Guardiola playing the passes in midfield.
Barcelona face the 1977 New York Cosmos, featuring the star wattage of Pele, Beckenbauer and Carlos Alberto. Will that triumvirate of legends be able to carry their less famous teammates to glory against Cruyff's men? The answer is, obviously, no. But it's a fun conversation nonetheless.

| 1:57.9 | month of lockdown. |
| 1:59.0 | His name is Taylor Rockwell. Hello. Hello. Still going strong, still mostly sane, although the appeal of the shining is growing. I find myself increasingly wanted to watch that, and I don't know if it's a good idea. Why would it not be a good idea? Well, like, there's the story that like the, uh, the Antarctic research facility, like when they go to their skeleton crew, they watch the thing and they watch the shining. And that feels like it would be fun, but simultaneously, I worry that, like, oh, he just sits in front of his typewriter and slowly loses his mind. It feels a bit like how I feel with a pile of books and notes next to me about some of these teams we're going to be talking about today. So you think you'll be in front of your microphone saying red rum, red rum, Han Ved, Han Ved, Pushcast. I mean, at least, I think we only see him write like eight words that whole movie. So at least I have been writing some stuff. Have we been creating content? So maybe we're not going so stir crazy. I have heard, though, that all podcast and no socializing makes Taylor a dollboy. make Stanley a lunatic, I think, is the better way to put that. |
| 2:53.4 | But yeah. |
| 2:54.0 | Makes Homer something something, I believe it's how that goes. |
| 2:57.7 | Don't mind if I do, no. |
| 2:58.5 | Don't mind if I do. |
| 2:59.3 | Today we are here for two more matchups in the International Champions |
