This is the greatest hour to follow Jesus.

Take your Bibles to John chapter 4.

You know, I want you to hear me and I, oh man, these days you say something, it's out there.

So it's like you jump off the cliff and you've eternally taken the jump.

I'm encouraged about what's happening in America.

I'm also concerned about what's happening in the West.

Within the church context,

I expect the world to be crazy.

And really, I feel like

not everywhere

let me just be really clear

not everywhere

but in many of our American

non-denominational environments

were a mile wide and an inch deep

were a mile wide and an inch deep.

We're a mile wide in reach, but we're an inch deep in relationship.

And that concerns me. It concerns me because the environments we say are dead, many of them have been around for 1,500 to 2,000 years.

And what we tend to glory in is for the most part untested in America, but is now just beginning to be tested.

So just give me a few minutes and try not to move while I'm teaching the word, okay?
