So today I'm talking to Erin Wright about publishing wide for the win.

We talk about the mindset shift that comes from publishing wide, why libraries are so important and tips for going wide with your books, whatever

stage you're at in the author journey. Talking about going wide, I shared my latest

cobo writing life map on Twitter this week. I have now sold books in 155 countries, which is crazy.

And that is just on Kobe, and that is just an e-book format.

And so that in itself is just fascinating because, and if you are traditionally published in any

form, I really suggest that you look at your contracts, see which territories they cover,

and consider self-publishing in other markets.

You might be leaving money on the table if you are not available all over the world.

And on the international publishing topic that we're going to get into in the interview,

I wanted to mention Mark Williams International Insights series on the Alliance of Independent Authors blog, which is available to everyone at self-publishing advice.org.

He wrote a piece about Amazon this week, which makes it clear that you are missing out on a lot of markets

if you only publish exclusively with Amazon in ebookprint and or audio.
