Hello, everybody. Welcome back to Psychedelics today. This is your host, Kyle Buller, and also

joined with Michelle Janikian today. And today on the show, we get to chat with Minesh Gern.

You may remember Minesh from a previous Solidarity Friday episode, so you can go back and check that out.

And if this is completely new to you, I'll read a little bit about Mnesh. So Manesh is a PhD candidate

and neuroscience at Miguel University and has been a lead or co-author

on a dozen scientific publications and book chapters on topics including psychedelics,

meditation, mind wandering, and the default mode network.

His PhD dissertation focuses on the default mode network, and he is also conducting research

on the brain mechanisms underlying

LSD, psilocybin, and DMT in collaboration with Dr. Robin Carhar Harris and others from the Imperial

College London Center for Psychedelic Research. In his free time, he also runs a YouTube channel,

the psychedelic scientist, definitely check that out, where he discusses the latest findings in

psychedelic science in an easy to understand but non-superficial form. I think that is actually

how I stumbled across Manesh's work, either on Instagram or YouTube, and really just appreciated

how he was presenting it and thought it, again, yeah, very easy to understand,

kind of breaking down some of those higher level ideas into things that, yeah, the layperson

can understand. So definitely check out some of his work. I really appreciate Manesh coming on

and chatting with us. We get into just neuroscience in general, get into psychedelics and creativity.

Yeah, and just everything psychedelic and neuroscience related. So we really enjoyed chatting with
