Hey, the bird show. So did the hubby get it or not? I mean, honestly, what are we teaching

our kids with this theory that, you know, when they're toddlers or whatever and you've

got your friends over at the house, you're having dinner or whatever, or relatives, they

may not even know that before they go to sleep, we make them hug everybody in the house.

So backwards now, it is. And it, well, it is backwards now, which is why myself and

Cassie and others are teaching our kids that they have autonomy, that they don't have to

hug people that if they don't want to hug them or they don't have to kiss somebody, if

they don't want to kiss them, they don't have to do that. If, if you're comfortable doing

that great, if you're not, we're going to respect your choices and we're going to respect

your body. Well, here's the problem that Katie was having here because her husband just

didn't understand her point on that. For those that didn't hear it on Friday, Katie,

explain the tension between you and your husband over this whole thing.

Well, he just thought I was being a little bit overprotective because I want it to be the

choice of my daughters if they hug someone or kiss someone and he thought that was ridiculous

that they should, you know, because we were going to visit his family over the weekend

and this has been brought up before. He doesn't want it to be a big issue. Just kissing

hug my family. What's the big deal? So we had a discussion, like a heart to heart and

I took the advice that you guys gave me last week and we sat down and I really explained

to him from our, like from a woman's perspective and a safety perspective and we got on the

same page. Like it took a while, but we got there. We have great communication. We just

had to navigate some things and but he got it. He did get it. He did. I think, you know,
