My crazy entitled mom is claiming that she's the rightful owner of my house,

despite the fact that she and my dad have been renting from me.

Things have gotten so bad that I'm now considering evicting them just to finally get her out of my house.

Here's what happened.

Okay, so I bought a small starter home during the housing market crash,

and I did this completely by myself.

I lived there for the better part of a decade before

buying a larger home with my now husband. My parents really wanted to live there because it was small

and very easy to maintain. They have foreclosed in the past, so there's no way anyone would ever

give them a mortgage. Also, my dad is retired and my mom just doesn't work. Now, they wanted to rent

from me. For a discounted rent,

they paid off the mortgage, let's say maybe $50,000 by tapping into a six-figure inheritance

that my parents got. So a lease was written up, explaining that it was a prepayment of rent,

and their rent would only be the taxes and insurance, and they would pay $350 a month. Basically,

only going up when taxes and insurance go up.

We signed the lease with all the other stuff involved and had it notarized, and that's how

it's been for quite a while now.

So, to be clear, I'm not making a single dime on this house.

I recently told them the rent would be going up by about $3, all because of a slight

increase in the insurance, and my mom lost her mind when I said

that. She is seriously claiming that I'm hungry for money, and that she was going to rip out

everything she did, namely the garden and other cosmetic changes to the house, and that I owe
