Hi everyone, welcome to Sudapod, the weekly horror podcast. I'm Howe'ster, your host and

this week's story, audio produced by the Amazing Chelsea, is from Geneve Flynn. Geneve is a

multi-award-winning fiction editor, author and poet. She is the co-editor of Black Crane's

Tales of Unquiet Women, along with Lee Murray. The anthology, one of the 2020 Bram Stoker

Award and Shirley Jackson Award and shortlisted for the British fantasy Oriales and Australian

Shadow's Awards. Geneve's short fiction, nonfiction and poetry have been published in various

markets, including Flame Tree Publishing, Sudapod, Crystal Lake Publishing, Black Spot Books,

and Space and Time magazine. Her poetry appears in the 2021 Bram Stoker award-winning

collaboration, tortured willows, bent, bowed, unbroken and has been nominated for the push-out prize,

and the Elgin, Reesling and Australian Shadow's Awards. She is a recipient of the 2022

the links in the show notes. Now, the writer this week is Jay Tan. Jay is a Malaysian Chinese writer

and freelance translator, an alumnus of the 2023 Fuguscapes Writers Workshop. Her short stories

have appeared in three consecutive volumes of the Nutmaxine series, as well as the Nutmax

Homegrown anthology. She also co-curated a reprint anthology title to the best of Malaysian writing

in English 2010 to 2020 in 2022. Currently, she is trying to get her first novel published before

she gets distracted by another shiny plot idea, with mixed results. So, without further ado,
