Hey everyone, this is Mary DeMuth and this is Pray Every Day, where I pray you through the Bible verse by

verse with joy and intention and purpose and also just kind of with a bunch of expectation and

this looking forward to because I don't prepare for pray every day. Not contrary to popular belief, I don't think anyone actually believes that, but I don't.

I approach the scripture fresh just as you would as you're picking up the Bible and

reading something.

And so I don't pre-read.

I just get it as I get it and I get it. And I respond to it as I respond to it. And I pray according. You're getting the live version. I don't know if you knew that, but I thought I would share that with you. On this 22nd day of February, today I'm reading one Psalm, Psalm 30 from the World English Bible. it is a song for the dedication of the temple and it's by king

david i will extol you yahway for you have raised me up and have not made my foes to rejoice over me

yahway my god i cried to you and you have healed Yahweh, you have brought up my soul from shale.

You have kept me alive that I should not go down to the pit. Sing praises to Yahweh, you saints of his,

give thanks to his holy name. For his anger is but for a moment. His favor is for a lifetime.

Weeping may stay for the night,

but joy comes in the morning.

As for me, I said my prosperity,

I shall never be moved.

You, Yahweh, when you favored me,

made my mountains stand strong.

But when you hid your face, I was troubled. I cried to you, Yahweh, I made supplication to the Lord.

What prophet is there in my destruction if I go down to the pit?

Shall the dust praise you? Shall it declare your truth?

Hear Yahweh and have mercy on me.

Yahweh, be my helper.
