Hi there. This is Mary Demuth and this is Pray Every Day where I pray you through the Bible verse by

verse. Thanks so much for coming here today. I'm really grateful. I know that you might be

struggling today and it just might be one of those days. It's hard to lift your head. But I do pray

that the scriptures that I read today would be encouraging to you and the prayers would be effective.

Hopefully I am one of those righteous people.

I know only by God's grace that I am, but it says that the prayer of a righteous person is effectual.

So I pray that.

All right, today I'm reading Psalm 19 and Psalm 20 from the World English Bible.

I will pray after each Psalm.

Here's what Psalm 19 says.

The heavens declare the glory of God, the expanse, shows his handiwork.

Day after day they pour out speech and night after night they display knowledge.

There is no speech nor language where

their voice is not heard. Their voice has gone out throughout all the earth, their words to the ends of

the world. In them he has set a tent for the sun, which is as a bridegroom coming out of his room

like a strong man rejoicing to run his course.

His going out is from the end of the heavens, his circuit to its ends.

There is nothing hidden from its heat.

Yahweh's law is perfect, restoring the soul.

His covenant is sure, making wise the simple.

His precepts are right, rejoicing the heart.

His commandment is pure, enlightening the eyes.
