Hey friends, Carrie Green here. This is the morning mindset. If you're new to the

morning mindset, welcome. I'm glad you found us this is a show where we are taking

six seven minutes to get our minds aligned with the truth of God's word every day. Have you ever heard someone say he would

give you the shirt off his back? What are they saying? Well they're talking

about that person's generosity that they are willing to give you anything you need in

order to benefit you or bless you.

Well today we're going to be talking about something Jesus has given to us for our benefit of our good and it is

his righteousness. Now I don't know if you ever thought about that before but today we're going to dig into it.

It's a powerful concept and it is one aspect of what the Apostle Paul refers to as the armor of God's

that we get to put on as believers in Christ. So as we dig into God's word today, let's pray together that He will be our teacher.

Lord Ephesians 614 is what we're looking at today.

This issue about putting on the breastplate of righteousness.

You inspired the apostle Paul to say it that way and I believe he says it that way for a very specific reason.

So Lord, give us eyes to see what that reason is.

Help us to apply it to our own hearts Lord and even do some applying yourself through the power of the Holy Spirit to our hearts and our situations in ways that I would not know as the teacher, but you know and you can take directly to the situations my

brothers and sisters who are listening are facing.

We ask it in Jesus' name, amen. All right, friends, get out your Bibles.

Efeasance 614 is what we're reading.

And we've already talked about the first part of this verse.

If you haven't heard yesterday's episode go back and

listen to that but the apostle Paul says stand therefore having fastened on the belt of truth and having put on the belt of truth and having put on the breastplate of righteousness.
