Hi, I'm Father John Ricardo, the founder and executive director of Acts 29. I'm talking

you from our new offices at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in downtown Detroit, and I'm excited to tell you

about our brand new podcast entitled, You Were Born for This. We're going to be talking about

anything and everything having to do with

parish transformation. Now, there are a lot of people talking about these kinds of things right now,

and this is so important because the primary place where most people meet the church is through a

parish. Now, clearly, nobody has the answer. We certainly don't think Acts 29 has the answer, but we do think we have some answers, and we're eager to share with all of you what God has shared with us. There is so much to talk about right now. But in the midst of all the craziness in the church and in the world, here's the key. God's not nervous. It's not as if he's up in heaven pulling his

hair out. He loves this world. He created this world. And he sent his beloved son, Jesus,

to rescue this world. And he has destined you and me to be alive right now for this moment. In fact,

you were born for this moment. God is constructing a spectacular

mosaic. And I don't know if I'm a small tile or a big tile. I don't know if you're a small

tile or a big tile. What I do know is that you are an irreplaceable piece in his mosaic and that he

has uniquely equipped you and me

with gifts for this time. And he wants to use you as an instrument in his hands to get his world back.
