key battles in the Civil War podcast. Wanted to mention something before we dive into the series.

This podcast is co-hosted with James Early. Both of us are

professors of history, and James is a real expert here, as you'll hear in the series. This series

originally ran in a podcast, which I host called History Unplugged. That show isn't just

focus on the Civil War, but really covers all aspects of history from ancient Greece,

in ancient Mesopotamia up to the 20th century, with episodes

highlighting World War II and the Cold War. And something I do on that show, as James and I are

going to do with this series on the Civil War, is to take a revisionist and unconventional look at
