We're going to be doing something a little bit different today, and I'm excited to talk

about this.

We're going to be taking on the topic of progressive prosecutors.

We will talk about the role of district attorneys in curbing crime and the unintended consequences

of leniency in the judicial system, along with what can be done to address community concerns

about aggressive policing and the growing prison population.

So kicking it off, Brooke, for those who aren't familiar with that phrase, progressive prosecutors,

could you talk a little bit about the concept of progressive prosecution, what that means

to you, what do you think it's come to be known as?
