We're talking about the college football playoffs.

This is more of a big picture way to end today's show.

And what we're talking about here, obviously, the college football playoff landscape has changed over the last couple of years.

Obviously, they made the switch in 2024 to expand to 12 teams.

It's been that way the last two years. And we've kind of seen some routine teams in the playoffs the last couple of seasons, Ohio State, Georgia.

Programs like that are always around the conversation or in contention. But what we wanted to do is talk about what programs from each conference do we think are kind of the next in line to make this playoffs. And that's where we're going to start with this one. Yep. Yep. It's going to be fun, Treb. This is part of the fun of looking around is like, obviously, you know, there's going to be teams that have been in it the last couple years that are going to be in it again this year.

You know, Notre Dame was in it last year, meaning in the conversation.

They were in it last year.

You have, Indiana was in it, literally in the last two years.

Miami was in the last two years.

They made it this past year.

They were in the conversation the year before. If they would have beat Syracuse or Georgia Tech in November, they're in, Bama's been in the conversation the last two years. Made it once, didn't make it another year. George has been in. And then there's the teams that kind of like kicked the door down a little bit in the last two years. Tennessee did it two years ago. Ole Miss obviously did it this past year.

I don't think Ole Miss was in it the year before.

There are three losses.

I mean, they lost to a four and eight team and six and six team.

They weren't a real playoff contender in 2024.

Only ESPN thought that they were that.

You know what I mean?

So that's kind of how I look at it,
