Someone just asked on text, Amy, after the show was over, how your dad's doing?

Because he says, hey, how's Amy's dad doing?

I'm from Texas.

Hope he's doing better.

He's good.

I was a little frustrated with him this week.

I saw him last weekend and he was great, but he kind of misled me on how well he's

doing.

He said he's eating like six tablespoons a day of mashed potatoes to really work on

his swallowing.

And then we had a phone call with his caregiver this week for like an hour.

And she's like, no, he's not doing his exercises.

He's regressed and he's only eating like two tablespoons a day.

So he's still taking food through that.

He still has the feeding tube as his primary way of getting food.

But so now we're like all kind of supposed to text him every day to encourage him.

Like, encourage him.
