Hey welcome back to Gun Talk, Tom Gresham here.

We're having so much fun today.

We get to talk about guns and also of course gun rights,

but I like to talk about the cool stuff which is for us it's the guns and the

optics and the ammo and the accessories and all the other stuff. So that's kind of

what we're doing today and at this point we're going to bring in a good friend of

ours. He's also world champion,

national champion, won everything. If it has to do with shooting pistols, this guy does it,

Max Michelle, who I guess Max you are captain of Team Sig, the competition

area?

Yeah, exactly. I'm the captain of the six-hour shooting team and very blessed to be so.

All right, for those who may not know, way back, you kind of got started, well you were shooting before you got into the Army,

but then you were in the Army Marksmanship Unit.

You want to get people like the quick 22nd version of what AMU is?

Yeah, so AMU was the Army Marks Unit was formed back in 1956 by President Eisenhower to really

just show the world what we were capable of as Americans.

What could we do at the highest level competing?

And that was our number one mission for really forever was to compete and win. Show the world what we can do. And then of course you know 9-11 happened and that changed a couple of things and then our number one mission became to not just not just to compete and win but also to

enhance combat readiness so as a unit we would go out and win at the highest level but
