Tonight I will be reading a Danish fairytale called Princess Rosamund by Jens Christian Bay written in 1899. This old tale is about a young kind princess who possesses 3 very unusual gifts. When the fame of the Princess is spread far and wide, Prince Hermes, asks his father for permission to go win her hand in marriage but an evil witch plays a trick on the royal families. Will Princess Rosamund and Prince Hermes become husband and wife? Well...let’s find out together.
