I'm still in awe.

I did not go to the Met Gala last night, but I was at the press preview.

The morning, it is fantastic.

I can't get over it.

The outfits, the designs, the Chanel, the Fendi, the Carl Lagerfeld. What a genius.

Wow. Let's explain here because a lot of people are going to be talking about the Met Gala, which was last night.

It really is fashion's biggest night. They call it the Oscars of fashions, lots and lots of celebrities.

Go to this big ball.

However, what people forget is the ball is a fundraiser.

That's why everybody has to pay so much money for a ticket.

$30,000 or $50,000 a ticket.

All that money goes to the Metropolitan Museums Costume Institute.

And they have a very special exhibit on at the moment,

dedicated to the legendary Karl Lagerfeld.

So, Miss D, you got into the exhibit a day early.

What are those clothes like?

Oh, they're just so fantastic.

He worked, we remember him wearing a lot of black and white, but he actually worked in colors. So there were these gorgeous ball gowns from the 60s that were in pinks and blues and gowns and feathers and fur and oh, just so gorgeous. And of course, they ended with his iconic look, the glasses, the black jacket,

the white shirt that he used to wear underneath. And you could just feel his spirit in the room.
