Summary

After the court denied Prince Andrews Motion to Dismiss his legal team filed their answer to the complaint and the case is moving forward into discovery. The answer is pretty standard continuing general denials, very very few admissions, and the assertions of affirmative defenses.

Welcome back to this week's episode of the Emily show.

0:04.0

Today we are talking about the Prince Andrew sexual assault

0:09.1

lawsuit a little bit more because there was an answer filed

0:13.4

and the media made a whole lot out of nothing I think.

0:16.6

There was an answer filed. We're going to talk about an answer.

0:18.5

We're going to talk about what civil lawsuits look like the

0:20.9

0:24.2

filed that no one is talking about that is one of the wildest

0:29.0

0:36.8

different, but it's filed in this case, not directly related to this case,

1:08.6

stuff. So because those motions are both filed in this case,

1:11.6

we're just doing it both. We're doing it both. We're going to

1:14.6

cover the answer in affirmative defenses. Talk a little bit about

1:17.3

what that means, what an answer is. I've already probably said that

1:21.1

and then we're just going to get into it. This is going to be a little bit late

1:24.2

because I was traveling. Hello, my lovely friends. I got to see all of my friends
