Welcome to the Hockey P.D.O.cast. My name is Dmitra Filipovich. And joining me is my good buddy, Jack, Han. Jack, what's going on, man?

It's a rematch. It's a rematch. It is a rematch. We are, this is our second show of the day. I'm very excited about this one. We're going to be doing the Stanley Cup final preview. We're going to go through X factors, key matchups to watch, exploitable strengths and weaknesses, storylines, all that good

stuff. Whenever we do these previews, I make sure to get Jack on to break the, especially

the tactical stuff down with me. And I think this series in particular is such a hockey fan's

dream in terms of both how good the two teams are,

but also kind of how they match up and a lot of the intricacies of it.

And hopefully we're going to get into all of it today.

This is going to be an initial preview for us.

We've got five days off until it starts.

And so we're going to do plenty more as we get up until that point.

Let's start with this. I'm curious for your take on it.

You mentioned the rematch from last year's final the first time we've gotten that since the Penguins,

Red Wings met back to back in 08 and 09.

It feels like, and maybe this is recency bias for me, just because these are the games I just watched from both of them.

But especially just based on that recent form this postseason, do you feel like these two teams

are better versions of the ones they were last year? It didn't seem like that was going to be the

case heading in right after all the speed and youth Oilers lost that in the offseason,

no Hyman is certainly a massive loss for them.

Yet I feel like with the combination of the blue line talent they have this year

and how they've played defensively in that stars

and really the Golden Knight series as well,
