My name is Taylor Rockwell and I am excited for this episode because we had originally

planned for this to be 100% a preview of the upcoming USM&T camp, the current USM&T camp,

as well as their upcoming friendlies versus Japan and Saudi Arabia.

It's still going to be about 70% that and then 30% USM&T therapy because I have concerns.

Here with me to help either ratchet up or tone down that anxiety are two licensed soccer

psychologists.

They're not really, but I'm going with that for the intro. Dr. Graham Ruffin, how are you today? I'm good. Come in and lie across my couch and you'll see where this goes. All right. Are you team anxiety or team calm as you look at the state of the USM&T, and I contemplate being invited to lay down on your couch? Well, I mean, my brand is team anxiety, and looking at this USMNT roster right now, not helping that current state of mind, I have to admit. All right, so that's another vote for team anxiety. Joining us is Dr. Joseph Lowry. Hello, Joe. Same question to you. Hey, Taylor. I'm not going to answer your question. Instead, I'm just going to say, remember my carbonite thing? That was fun, wasn't it? You're right, Joe. So you're saying we needed more carbonite? I mean, I think that's the obvious answer here, right? We just put everyone in carbonate. Taylor, you're welcome to hop in carbonite as well, and we can just unfreeze you, Han Solo style, on November 20th, if that would be best for you? What do you think? I don't know. I think I do better, like, panicking in the moment and trying to adjust to it rapidly as opposed to the kind of slow, oh no, he's hurt too, and he's heard. I think maybe all at once would be good. It might overload the circuits, but I like it. I'm a little bit concerned about somebody like Pulisic, who seems to have been frozen in carbonite and then also thrown into a Sarlack pit, the double Star Wars reference for you nerds out there. Yeah, so Joe, you're still advocating. You think carbonite is the way to go. I mean, I think so. There's also a chance it would have prevented Christian Polisic from writing this book that apparently he's writing. So I really don't see any downside here to be honest. We need to know more about this. Okay, so the book is apparently called Christian Polisic, my journey so far. This is, I'm not kidding. This is real.

Apparently, this became a real thing.

Like, news of this was announced back over the summer, and we all just totally missed it.

And now there's an excerpt from this book that's been running across the internet today.

With Polisic talking about how Tuchel promised him minutes in the Champions League,

then apparently according to Polisic sort of went back on that and played Kite Havert's instead.

And so now Polisic is decided that this is the time to air some of his grievance.

I have no idea what's going on.

But if there's ever been a case for carbonite to prevent other unfortunate actions,

this Christian Policic thing would have been the move months ago.

I saw that quote going around about Tuchel and him promising that, that Real Madrid,

it was Real Madrid in the Champions League, right?
