Welcome to the Hockey PEDEOCast. My name is Dmitra Filipovich. We are back here for part two of our round one review extravaganza, joined by both Jack Hahn and Jack Fraser. As we're breaking all the series down, we did a bunch of West series in part one. So go and listen to that. If for some reason you're starting off listening to us here, we'll jump to the east now and we're going to talk about the Battle of Florida, which I think is incredibly fascinating and it's a ton of storylines.

Han, where are you at with this series between the Panthers and the Lightning in terms of how they shake out on paper and sort of how this series could look like and whatever interesting strengths or weaknesses you

think they respectively have that the other team can capitalize on. So first of all, I don't know

which series is it going to be more toxic, especially after the whistle. Is it going to be

this one or Toronto Boston? But I digress. Certainly, I think you guys both tweeted about this,

and it's how dominant the Barkov and Forzling duo have been in terms of tilting the play,

but also outscoring opponents at 5-on-5.

And then on the other side, obviously we have Kuturov,

who's having a season for the ages and who's MVP of the league, you know, for me just because if it weren't for him, I don't even think Tampa would be in the playoffs right now.

So I think that's the main matchup I'm looking for there.

I'm obviously looking forward to that one as well. I think Florida's aggression Fraser is so fascinating to me because they are,

you know, Han mentioned they're off the top of a, well, with toxic, I think this one clearly

just because Florida is chaos personified in the NHL. They're first in the league and penalties

drawn. There's second in the league and penalties taken. There's no real off switch for them, right?

Like the reason why they're so successful and so exhausting to play against is because

they just challenge every single puck.

Sometimes they go over the line.

They certainly initiate a scrum after every single whistle purposefully to try to get you

off your game.

And it winds up working for them.
