This is a conversation with my good colleague Bob Zimmerman of Behind the Black

about the Web Telescope turning up yet another very early galaxy that is very developed with a lot of new stars making bright lights

300 million years after the Big Bang. Why is this a challenge? Because theory doesn't explain the presence of this galaxy

nor its comparable galaxy around the same period. Very developed. Bob explains and it connects to the Big Bang

theory. Unsolved as of yet as I understand. More of this later. Yes, this is not the first massive and developed galaxy only 300 million light years after,

300 million years after the Big Bang.

It is the closest to the Big Bang that's been found so far,

the most distant and therefore closest to the Big Bang

that's been found, but it's not the only one in this very very early

universe that's been found to be far more massive and developed than expected.

And in fact all the theories, cosmological theories about the Big Bang said that we would find galaxies in this very early universe that were just being born and developed.

Instead, they're finding very developed galaxies with a lot of star formation that are much more massive than expected.

It is a puzzle that causes problems for the Big Bang, because it doesn't fit the theory.
