Trendy Aragua. This is a gang, a criminal organization, originated in Venezuela. What is

distinctive about Trendy Aragua throughout the Americas into the States, is that it is state-sponsored.

This is directed by Caracas.

Trendy Aragua, you're going to hear a great deal about this in the coming months.

It's a threat to the security of the United States.

Joseph O'Marrer speaks very carefully about trendyy Aragua, more of this tonight.

I mean, the first thing that I think everyone needs to understand about the Trendairaagua

is that it's a state-sponsored transnational criminal organization.

That makes them distinct from the Mexican cartels or even MS-13

that have terrorized communities throughout the United States for many, many years.

The other part that I think you have to understand about Trandaagua is that they terrorize all of South America,

and by doing so have built a complex web of criminal alliances.

And so another phenomenon that we're seeing here in the United States, beyond just the direct crimes and violence associated to Trennairagua, the murder of Lake and Riley, the Merlea Jocelyn Nungare, the building of prostitution rings and everything that they've done, is you're also seeing an uptick in what they call crime tourism.
