Speaking with Joseph Umar, Executive Director of Security Society, which touched upon

the kidnapping and murder of a former Venezuelan who fled the country for a sanctuary in Chile. He was associated at the time arrest with a

plot to assassinate Nicholas Maduro never proved. He's been living in exile in Chile these years. He was

disappeared from his apartment February 21st, found dead in a suitcase grotesquely in

these last days. Joseph maintains that this is a blow to the

Chilean regime that elements of Venezuela or its surrogates reached in to assassinate an enemy.

It's also an alarm bell for the diaspora of Venezuela.

This is a country in deep trouble. It is a crossroads for the bad actors in South America and the globe.

And now we have evidence of targeted killing assassination in a sovereign power.

It's a puzzle.

There was a targeted assassination on a former Venezuelan military official as a defector and he left the regime and he left the country and he was residing in Chile and he was assassinated in Chile very recently. this kind of shows another layer, another level of Maduro's

repression if he could start to go after dissidents and opposition in other countries.

The fact that this was taken, the fact that this took place in Chile is very alarming.

And I think President Borich needs to respond to that.
