The vote is decidedly in favor of the opposition but disenfranchised by maneuvers by the Maduro regime.

And now Mary tells us Karina Macharo, the leader of the opposition, and Almondo Gonzalez, the winner of the election,

according to the accounting that the opposition was able to do at all the polling stations are in hiding. Why?

Mariana Stasia O'Grady explains the extreme risk in Venezuela now, with the

Maduro regime supported by Russia and China and Cuba, Nicaragua, and we have reason

to believe Colombia and Brazil also backing.

Well, they issued a arrest warrant for both of them two days ago so they're in hiding right now and yeah sure

they're at risk they're also arresting mid-level members of the opposition who are not so well

known internationally but who are important figures on the local

scene and you know they're kind of trying to spread this terror through the whole country that if you if you're on the side of the

opposition you're in trouble you might go to jail you might be killed you

know certainly you'll lose your job you'll lose your food rations I mean they're they're using everything they have to try to

basically you know deflect or or basically crush this movement.
