This is John Bachelor, conversation with my good friend Bob Zimmerman, behind the black.com, about a new

company called Varda, V-A-R-D-A, that in a test case of putting samples of pharmaceuticals into orbit and then recovering those samples,

they have established the ability to make pharmaceuticals in 0G that cannot be made easily or without lavish expense or at all

under the gravity of Earth at 1G.

And therefore Varda's test case was successful.

They've recovered the capsule.

It can be done.

Immediately investors show up an enormous amount of money floods in Devarda.

Monotizing space, that is a theme that Bob Zimmerman has followed for many years.

Commercial space will out.

The market will take us to Mars.

Yes, we talked about Vardar a few times in the last few weeks.

Varda had a capsule up in orbit,

an unmanned capsule that was recoverable.

And it got that capsule back after about seven months.

And in that capsule, they were doing a demonstration engineering test of technology to

produce pharmaceuticals in space in weightlessness because some far pharmaceuticals in weightlessness can be produced much cheaper and also

can be produced on earth you can't produce them.

So this has always been known, always that if you could produce pharmaceuticals and weightlessness you have a viable

product if you can do it cheaply enough and it's definitely cheaper than on the ground.

And so they sent this test capsule up, they got the results back about a week ago. I talked
