This is John Bachelor, speaking to John Hardy of the Foundation for the Defense of democracies

about the Ukraine Front and what is to be done.

Implicit in all of this is that the Ukrainians have the manpower to continue the fight

with the money now due in from the US and material support. However, there is the matter of demobilization. Not a drafting, demobilization.

John tells me that the frontline has been manned for two years with no one allowed to leave, no one leaving the military, and that can be

a reason for people draft doubting, or avoiding the draft, or in some fashion not providing material support in some fashion money or work

back behind the lines.

Here's John Hardy to explain how Ukraine has problems quite in addition to the

U.S. and NATO continuing to poor weapons and money into Ukraine.

Well I think the Ukrainian military was clearly worried that they couldn't sustain large-scale demobilization,

even with an influx of new troops thanks to the new legislation,

just large-scale demobilization isn't really an option.

So I think, you know, that's kind of the way they went.
