Conversation with Professor Richard Epstein of the Hoover Institution teaches law at NYU in the University

of Chicago.

His measure of the conviction, 34 counts of former President Trump by the Manhattan

jury and courtroom. Richard is blunt in his assessment and forgives me for my inability to summarize the crime.

I couldn't easily summarize and so Richard did for me.

Well the reason you can't summarize it is they managed to go through the whole trial without identifying

what it was. They said there's three general areas. Since you didn't specify in any of the charges

to the jury is what you had to prove

any one of these things all they had to do was to check the yes box on

guilty and once they checked that particular box the requirement that there was an independent

felony simply fell by the wayside. This is one of the most outrageous kind of

judicial shenanigans I've ever seen in my life and my view is when people actually stop and understand the way

in which this thing was conducted it will probably over time improve the support for

Donald Trump.
