you get so much more out of the information that you consume when you convert into knowledge like it

starts to become so much more useful you start to think about it in a very different way like we have

this as well in any Murphy Hall where she talked about the benefits of externalizing knowledge one

your brain is a shitty place to store information and David Allen said it well when he said your brain

is for having ideas not for storing them so part of the benefit of externalization is one of just

offloading things right so that you can think more clearly because if you're like literally just

you're trying to keep all this information in your head then not only can you not bring in new

information without it just turning into a jumbled mess your brain starts to become like a digital

closet of like those idiots on a hoarders whereas even if you're hoarding shit digitally and

you have no system it's better than keeping it in your head because at least you're getting it

offloaded and you just are able to think a lot more clearly that way
