This is a preview of my conversation with Bill Whale and my colleague of the Hoover Institution

from his column California on my mind about scenarios for the Democratic Party given the overwhelming

polling that shows that the Democratic Party wants someone else to be at the top of the

ticket in 2024.

Once President Biden to retire with grace and participate in some fashion, but not as

the nominee, Bill entertained several scenarios that are based upon the calendar, based upon

expectations, based upon the rules as we understand it, to lead to a nominee, and also

based on the ambition of all media to have a brokered convention, that is heaven.
