He's in Shanghai, reflecting upon the risk in Ukraine with the attack into the

Kursk region with the arrival of F-16s with constant threats

from the Kremlin.

Vladimir Putin saying the attack into the

cursed region, Russia, is a major provocation. What does this add up to in terms of

Ukraine's ability to sustain itself for another year.

Anatole looks at the promise of the Biden administration to provide within 45 days of that

61 billion funding earlier this year, an explanation for war aims,

none forthcoming right now.

And we turn to the details of Ukraine not being watched because all eyes are on the Middle East.

I think increasingly when nobody is paying attention to them and of course also the US is so distracted now by what's happening in the Middle East

that I think there is little, frankly there's little attention left over presently for Ukraine but of course the

administration and well indeed us just have to hope that there isn't a really big Russian success in the fall because certainly

the indications I'm getting are that the Russians will try one more big push to try to gain more territory, either to gain and hold more territory or to get territory as a bargaining

counter. They may not succeed, but I think next month in October will be a very dangerous time for Ukraine.
