A conversation with Ord Kittree of the Foundation for the Defense of Democracy

sophisticated organization in the Africa National Congress, the ANC, and links to a Russian oligarch.

Links to a Russian oligarch that may explain the fact that South Africa has sided with Russia and the war on Ukraine and

recently brought genocide charges against Israel at the International Criminal

Well, yes, I mean this has been a big concern for U.S. foreign policy that South Africa is

siding with Russia. For all of, you know, Ramaposa, the NC's pretensions of standing up for

truth and justice, they have allied themselves with Russia in

Russia's war against Ukraine.

South Africa held joint naval drills with Russia on the anniversary of its invasion of Ukraine is

reportedly supplied Russia the weapons usable against Ukraine. So you wonder why is

this happening? And then yeah you follow the money and you discover as the Congressional Research Service, an arm of the US government, says,

the ANC has received political financing from a firm linked to US sanctioned Russian oligarch

Victor Vexilburg.

Not only has it received financing,

but at a time when the ANC has been struggling

to pay its staff, Vexilberg-linked sources are reportedly the ANC's largest single source of funding.

The convention at which Ramaposa was nominated for re-election

was in fact paid for $826,000 funded by a Vexelburg-linked firm.
