for Defense of Democracies, about Russia's attachment to the collective security treaty organization,

a combination of several of the central European states who were part of the Soviet

Empire, but after the failure of the Soviets, they put together the CSTO to hold together

Armenia, Azerbaijan, Turkestan, Kyrgyzstan, the Armenia, I mentioned, not Ukraine.

Uzbekistan was a member at one point, so was Azerbaijan, so was Georgia, but they quit.

What does this mean today?

None of these states are fighting on the battle for the Ukraine, all remain distant from Moscow.
