Liz concentrates on recession. We heard that word all during 2022. What is the market

opinion now of the possibility of a recession in this unusual recovery? High inflation, very high employment, very low unemployment, profits

on Wall Street and yet doubts, doubts in the road ahead, waiting for the Federal Reserve to cut something of its 23-year

high interest rates, is Elizabeth Peek on the word recession.

Well again, the opposite of a soft landing is you go into recession.

And certainly the expectation for that, which was absolutely, you know, people were convinced in early 2012. that was

convinced in early 2022 that that was going to happen.

It hasn't.

And I think the expectations for that are way way down.
