Institution, watching the sanctions regime on Russia. Michael identifies China moving against Russia

for the first time to my memory, putting tariffs, high tariffs on dual-use technology and

refusing to sell from a list of do-use technologies

that are easily part of weapon systems, the Chinese.

And not only for China, but also preventing Kazakhstan or other Central Asian states from buying

from the Chinese and reselling to Russia.

China, the so-called ally, the partner with Vladimir Putin,

now suddenly obeying the sanctions regime.

Why? Michael speculates Trump's inauguration.

China looking to demonstrate good faith in some fashions anywhere.

And one way is to deprive its no-limits partner of gunplay.

The Chinese on December 1st imposed new sanctions for the first time new restrictions on Russia.

They issued the list of dual-use products, meaning the products like technology equipment,

which can be used for both military purposes and civilian purposes.

And they said they will control it.

They will have 25% tariff on all this exported goods, but some of them they will just ban,

and the Russians cannot buy them. And the Chinese said they will control this list not only for

Russia, but for neighboring countries like Kazakhstan, Central Asian countries, which

re-export buying these goods from China and resell them to Russia.
