Conversation between my colleagues Gordon Chang and Anne Stevenson Yang about the details emerging how long China's

E.V. manufacturers take to pay their bills.

The average amount of time for Tesla, even building in China is 100 days.

Gordon speaks to the report that there is a Chinese EV manufacturer now,

BYD, very notable, and takes up to 275 days.

Certainly there was a lengthy time, as Gordon will tell you in 2021, and it's only

getting worse here in 2024. Why? What does it mean? And Hans Stevenson-Yang fills in the blanks of what this means and what it tells us about Chinese manufacturing over capacity and the pricing that used to be called the China price now it's the desperate

It really is and it shows on one hand that the manufacturers dominate the supply chain and the supply chain really doesn't have a lot of choice.
