B.Y.D. E.S. in America and Europe.

There is also an issue of Chinese using subterfuge to move its over

capacity for steel and aluminum. Alan here describes how it's done, using Canada as a trans shipping spot, fooling no one or maybe

fooling everyone, unknown. Alan Talison describing how China, quite ignoring the insistence of countries to stop

dumping your material into our market, subsidized material, is attempting or actually

managing to evade tariffs, evade scrutiny of the U.S. and Canadian government.

One problem, and this comes that according to

that according to Canada aluminum is that is that according to steel industry people that I speak to regularly, the Canadians have not done such a great job on stopping or even limiting China or even limiting the transshipment of Chinese made steel from Canada into the United States,

which is to say that the Chinese send their steel to Canada, but it's not consumed there.

The various importers repackage it,

put a made in Canada label on it,

and ship it over to the United States.

And this kind of trans shipment has been a huge concern for all sorts of Chinese

products. It's kind of difficult to spot but at the same time I think it's fair to say that the various

customs authorities in the country's concerned haven't exactly been Johnny on

the spot on this problem either.
