This is John Bachelor, conversation with Charles Ortell, who's back from overseas traveling,

Sundays with Charles Ortell Podcast, about the trouble that the Chinese economy is in right now based on its property collapse, the bubble

of credit, and the ambition of China to find a solution watching the Chinese Communist Party choose this or that lever to pull in order

to make the economy mended and then rise again. The prospect of such a thing happening, however, is limited.

And right now we hear from China that they're trying manufacturing

to sell their way out of this, to become the world's factory floor again, the thing that worked

in the late 20th or early 21st century, and asking Charles Artell what will work to get them out of what is an essentially a credit collapse.

Too many people owe too much money and can't pay it back and the Chinese Communist Party will not admit to the fact.

And Charles has an answer.

Is Tarzartel on what will work for the People's Republic of China?

Well, one thing that might save it is if they, which would never happen,

abandoned the communist PLA-dominated approach to a country with so many smart people who I think are being

held back by the governance structure. That would work, particularly if people who had, like families who had fled China, returned back there under a new regime.

Short of that, I think we're kidding ourselves and very slowly and then suddenly China, what happened to the Soviet Union will happen to the

Communist Party. More of this later.
