Intelligence Officer in the Pacific, about a confrontation in the South China Sea between the Chinese PLA Coast Guard and the Philippine Coast Guard.

The news is that the Japan Coast Guard, the South Korea Coast Guard, the U.S. Coast Guard, and the

Philippine Coast Guard are all talking to each other about

support for the South China Sea. This is Jim Finel to describe what this means

and what his further recommendation would be the next time the Philippines

looks to resupply its team in the South China Sea regarding the exclusive

economic zone of the Philippines.

It'll be nice to have the U.S. Coast Guard cutter there,

but how long will it be there?

And when it leaves, what will that really have changed

substantively in terms of this controversy between China and all the OSEAN nations that are trying to just, you know, eke out their existence and not have their, you know, their exclusive economic zone be rated by the Chinese or their sovereignty stolen by the Chinese

Communist Party. So I think right now we're in this critical time where we need to

let this play out, but again, like I said yesterday or the day before on the show, my recommendation is that

we would get US 7 fleet warships down there.

The Chinese have warships down there and let's use a US Navy destroyer to help the Filipinos conduct the next time they need to do a resupply.

Again, there's about 8 to 10 Philippine sailholders on that old World War II rusted out Hulk you can go on the internet and see what

it is it's it's literally rusted out for 25 years it's no military threat but

it is the only means available for the Republic of the Philippines to maintain
