European participation in space exploration and monetization.

Luxembourg, Bob characterizes as the first among them investing in satellites.

But now everything is transforming, booster companies, satellite tug companies, all manner of Earth and orbital material ideas, entrepreneurs

flowing.

Why?

Perhaps because the end of Ariana Space, the end of big

space out of the European Space Agency. The 20th century model is gone everywhere

except for, well, the unfortunate Roscosmos left to starve on the vine.

And then the Chinese space program, which is all about imitating what was done in the 20th century.

However, in Europe, they're looking to make money. In America

they're looking to make money. Monetizing orbit, monetizing the moon and

Mars is beyond. Here's Bob Zimmerman to explain how quickly your is this later. Yes, Luxembourg's been around actually for more than 20 years in the satellite industry.

That's where they focused and they made a lot of money in the satellite industry.

Their company is SES.

It just purchased in PELat, the American company.

It's really a very successful company.

But in terms of rocketry, what Europe has done for decades has been put together a consortium

in the European Space Agency called Arias Space to build government rockets.

And that model basically kind of worked, it never made money, but it kind of works for decades.

But in the new competitive private industry,

it doesn't work anymore.
