We started in Las Vegas for an astonishing piece of land now changing hands.

Jeff, a very good evening to you. The hotels you guide me to are the Bilageo and

the cosmopolitan. What's happened? Good evening to you.

Good evening, John. The two hotels, one owned by Hotel Casino Resorts,

one is owned by MGM, that's the Bilageo, one of several Resort

Casinos they own area. And the other one is owned by the Blackstone Group and that is the

Cosmopolitan, very,

both upscale, cosmopolitan tends to aim

to a younger crowd, both very nice, very fancy.

But there was a strip of land between them, too,

that it was about 1.62 acres so not very much there. They paid an

astonishing $54 million. MGM did. They paid $54 million to the folks

who own that land and now they're going to be able to expand a little bit more or have more of a parking facility there or something.

But this is a big purchase. Apparently it started taking place back in last spring we're just

hearing about now again this just goes to show you the value of real estate and

business in Vegas I took a look at the at the snapshot Jeff. It's nothing. It's just, you can't even roller skate on it. It's not big enough.

And it's paved over. There's nothing attractive about it. So you think they're just going to grow the hotel in that

direction? I think so I think it allows them to you know maybe they'll put some

office in that space or some additional parking or maybe even push out some of the

some of the casino like you said it's not very big but when you get into places

like Vegas today or other high-end real estate markets, every square foot matters.

And this is something obviously they thought long and hard about because they paid big money for it.
