about the report that the governor of New York, Kathy Hochel, holding a meeting to discuss what to do with Eric Adams,

to fire him now, to remove him from office.

Liz comments on the irony here about the mayor under investigation,

under indictment for Tammany Hall exercises, and yet that was not a problem. Now, what is the

problem? Liz outlines why suddenly the governor wants to rid herself and the New York state

of its duly elected mayor, Eric Adams. More of this tonight. So it's pretty astonishing

and quite an indictment of the Democratic leadership of New York State that when Eric Adams was

indicted and he was indicted on charges of misuse of campaign

funds, bribery, corruption, etc., Democrats are okay with that. They didn't love it, but they

basically had no thought about taking him out of office. But now that he's actually talking to

Tom Holman, ICE director for Donald Trump,

about getting criminals here in the country illegally out of New York, which by the way,

99% of New Yorkers feel pretty good about, now he's in trouble. So you just have to ask

yourself, whose side are these people on?

Are they on the side of the average citizen in New York City who is threatened by people in the

city illegally who are committing crimes? The NYPD has said that something like 70% of their arrests

are people here in the country illegally. My gosh, the residents of New York City

deserve better. And the fact that the Democratic power brokers in New York now find Eric Adams

an unsuitable mayor because he wants to work with ICE to get rid of criminals, that's pretty

disgusting.
