Sometime in the year 2026 for a launch, takes nine months to get to Mars if you go straight there.

Yeah, the whole point is to test landing. There's unknowns here, you don't have a landing platform. He's

landing into a piece of surface that has probably a lot of near surface ice. So the

ground could be melting and becoming liquid if it comes down. Starship will have to have legs for this purpose.

The Rapt the engines are so powerful that they act as blow torches.

So there's going to be a lot of unknowns coming down here and so they're testing it.

And they don't want to

people there and they're not planning to bring it back it'll test the reliability

of landing intact on Mars that's the call.
