This is John Batchelor, conversation with my colleague Joseph Umar Executive Director of

Security about the effect of Nasrallah, the Hezbollah chieftains, death in Latin America. Joseph identifies Joe Maduro, Nicholas Maduro as the most

prominent sympathizer with Nasrala and his event following the news, the confirmation of Nasrala's death.

There are other bad actors, but Madur is the one especially to watch.

There's essentially political leaders that are sympathetic to Hezbollah.

Nikos Maduro, the regime leader in Venezuela,

he's probably among the most vocal,

and he took a trip actually to a state in Venezuela along the border with Colombia.

That's probably the most, it's probably where the largest Muslim population exists inside Venezuela.

This is the Guaida state in Venezuela and it

borders the city of my cow in Colombia. My cow is where they have one of the

largest mosques in Latin America and it's also where there's a sizable

Lebanese population and a side of the Lebanese Shiite population and that extends over across

the border into Venezuela. Madura went over there to do a sort of rally and he spoke very favorably of Nasrala and he kind of mourn his death, so to speak.

You heard other things in other corners of Latin America, I've one more allas in Bolivia.

But fundamentally, these are what I call

the sympathizers of Hezbollah,

because of the most, they're the ones

that were cooperating with Hezbollah

on all kinds of illicit activities to include

narco trafficking, money laundering, and also illicit gold smuggling. And so
