Foundation for the Defense of Democracy about Richard's observation of

what must not happen following the success of the IDF in the Gaza Strip. What must not happen?

One of the items catching everyone's attention is a form of governance for the Gaza Strip.

We've seen recently speculation that the Palestinian Authority on the West Bank

would be a good arbiter.

Richard is adamant, the PA,

Mukma Abbas, the whole apparatus

must not participate in any fashion in Gaza.

Their conduct in the West Bank is unacceptable and they would extend it into Hamas territory where they were driven from in 2007.

What must not happen?

Here's Richard to explain how Mahmoud Abbas once upon a not for Gaza in the future. Well, in my view, and this is one of the most in the press, in your face conversations happening right now,

and that is, what role does the Palestinian Authority play in what comes next in Gaza?

In my view is it should have no role in Gaza whatsoever, as it's currently

constituted, as it certainly exists, as its policies play out,

as its leaders say what they say and do what they do.

Just think about who the Palestinian Authority is today, right?

And the legitimacy of even dealing them as an actor in the territory they currently control.
